Micro-mosaic was sold to the Victorian ladies in the early and mid-19th century when tourism was on a high in Rome

This beautiful little locket has a delicate etched pattern on the front with a plain back

and a particular taste for whimsy

The bracelet could easily be from the Victorian era although it is most likely from the 1920s

The bangle is stamped with the designers mark  '© 'MONET' indicating the piece was made in the 1980s
