They are followed by small, round to ovate, golden yellow and green fruit with red and orange striping. A white to ivory flesh is crisp, firm and fine grained, sometimes tinged with green. It has sweet, sharp, aromatic flavour. Sunset Apple was bred in approximately 1918 by G. C. Addy at Ightham, Kent. One of the parent
