This cotton hat is inspired by one of the many joyful flower paintings the Dutch painter Ambrosius Bosschaert painted throughout his life (1573-1621)

Socks by Van Leen (5 pairs) taeuber-arp and this enthusiastic expressionism developedThese socks are inspired by a tiny watercolour painted by the 18th century Dutch painter Willem van Leen: Bouquet of tulips, violets, blue grapes and dotters. The original only measures 21x14,4cm and is one of the many studies Van Leen undertook to practice his skills for the successful flower painter he would become. The scenery of this fragile bouquet might very well have been the pleasant and peaceful 'Jardin des Plantes' in the heart of Paris.
