各ディテールは日本人の足に合うように修正されました。

ヨーロッパの漁師が履いていたフィシャーマンサンダルをベースに、一足を制作しました。太いベルトを編み込むことで、足をしっかりと包み込む構造に仕上げています。アッパーには、肉厚でコシのある一枚革を使用。横幅にゆとりを持たせた木型を採用し、ソックスと合わせた着用も想定しています。

アッパーには、革本来の表情を最大限に活かすため、植物タンニン鞣し・染料仕上げのレザーを採用。さらに、アウトソールまでしっかりと縫い上げ、ヒールは交換可能な別体仕様とすることで、修理を重ねながら末永く履き続けられる一足に仕上げました。

このデザインは、1910年代から1920年代のバンダナを参考にしています。私はこのタイプを「アーバン・フローラル・バンダナ」と呼んでいます。
