These are made from stainless steel and conform to tight tolerances so they fit snugly into a Heim joint and will stand the test of time. Often times, after the Heim joint wears out, these are swapped over to the new Heim joint. On a typical Heim joint the overall width of the unit (Heim joint with misalignment spacers installed) is 2 5
